This coffee is like a vacation at grandma's house—fresh, sweet, and full of memories. In every sip, you'll find the taste of strawberry jam that reminds you of summer days, light lemongrass that refreshes you, and a subtle floral hint of hibiscus that completes the overall harmony. With the Maracaturra variety, this coffee will take you on a taste journey into the past, where delicate sweetness blends with beautiful freshness, giving the coffee a unique character and lightness.
The coffee comes from the Bethania farm, which was founded in 1991 in the Macuelizo region and is now run by sisters Ana and Martha Albir. The farm is a symbol of family tradition, perseverance, and love for the land. After the family returned to Nicaragua following the revolution in the 1970s, the sisters decided to restore and develop the coffee farm, which today boasts exceptional quality and an innovative approach to cultivation. Nueva Segovia, an area known for its exceptional coffee, is the ideal location for this coffee, which will appeal to all lovers of quality coffee.
Its distinct flavor comes from the dry (natural) processing method, in which the coffee cherries are dried in the sun and turned regularly to ensure even drying and preserve all flavor notes. The farm has its own drying facility, Cafetos de Segovia, which gives it full control over processing and quality. They also work with more than 47 small producers in the region, which helps support the local community. The result is a coffee that is clean, fresh, and full of natural flavor that will take you back to your childhood.
