This May, in addition to the lovebirds, the adorable bark of Máj, one of the dogs at The Naughty Dog roastery, invites you to fall in love with coffee. He invites you to try this May special, roasted to taste great in both espresso and filter brews. When brewed as an espresso, it yields a pleasantly sweet yet juicy, creamy shot; when brewed as a filter coffee, you’ll enjoy its playful acidity and floral aroma. In the cup, you’ll detect notes oflemon lollipops, white peaches, and wildflowers. And the entire flavor profile is rounded out bya deliciouscaramel fondant.
Mája’s coffee comes from theFinca Naranja processing station, managed by Lorenzo Arbildo Ubillus and located in San Ignacio in the Cajamarca region of Peru. This farm sits at an impressive altitude of around 1,900 meters above sea level, where the coffee trees have ideal conditions for the slow ripening of the cherries. For the MÁJA IN LOVE coffee, the prized Geisha variety was selected, freshly harvested in the fall of 2025. The top-notch quality of this harvest reflects the beautiful nature of the surrounding Peruvian mountains as well as the love and care of the local farmers. For its seasonal limited edition, the Naughty Dog roastery couldn’t have made a better choice.
The coffee was processed using the washed method, which means that after harvesting, the cherries were stripped of their skin and pulp, fermented in water tanks, and then sun-dried. Through this process, Lorenzo highlighted the coffee’s purity and freshness, so that both its sweetness and higher acidity stand out beautifully in the May special, MÁJA IN LOVE.
