This Ethiopian coffee is a wonderfully light and fresh specialty coffee designed for lovers of elegant, tea-like profiles. From the first glance and sip, it will enchant you with its high sweetness and higher, perfectly integrated acidity. The flavor profile is dominated by the intoxicating aroma of coffee blossoms combined with the juiciness of white peaches and delicate, refined notes of Earl Grey tea, resulting in an incredibly clean, light, and playful coffee experience in your cup.
The origins of this exceptional lot trace back to the very cradle of coffee—specifically, the renowned Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. The beans come from the Danche processing station, where small local farmers deliver their hand-picked coffee cherries. The coffee trees here grow at an impressive altitude of 1,900 to 2,200 meters above sea level. It is precisely this extreme altitude that allows the cherries ample time to ripen slowly, which directly results in the beans’ exceptional density, their high sweetness, and the unmistakable aromatic profile of the fresh harvest from January 2026.
In terms of botanical origin, this is a blend of native Ethiopian varieties combined with the selected cultivars 74110 and 74112. The coffee was processed using the traditional washed method. This classic processing method thoroughly removes the pulp from the coffee beans, allowing their natural character to shine through. As a result, the coffee retains absolute purity, high juiciness, and delicate floral nuances, making it the perfect choice for everyday filter brewing.
