Sweet Treat from Boo Roastery is the perfect fall coffee, sure to warm you up with its exceptionally cozy, deep, and sweetly spicy profile. In the cup, you can look forward to a perfectly layered harmony of fall flavors, reminiscent of a freshly baked homemade dessert. The tasting experience opens with delicious notes of baked apple and juicy cherries, which seamlessly blend with the distinctive flavor of a fresh cardamom bun. The entire composition is beautifully underscored by a velvety-smooth body and a warm milk chocolate base. It is an exceptionally clean, structured, and rich coffee experience that you’ll love for both festive morning rituals and relaxing afternoon coffee breaks.

This lot originates from the renowned Colombian region of Huila, specifically the celebrated Acevedo area. The beans were grown on the family-run Resinas farm, which is tended with the utmost care and love by growers María Belén Díaz and Narciso Narváez. The high altitude ensures slow ripening of the coffee cherries, allowing the beans to absorb ample nutrients and develop exceptional body, natural sweetness, and a complex aromatic profile that fully comes through in every cup.

In terms of botanical origin, this is the highly prized and sought-after Pink Bourbon variety. However, the true magic of this coffee lies in the unique two-phase semi-washed processing method developed directly by farmer María Belén. After carefully hand-picking the ripest cherries, the whole fruits—with their skins intact—underwent a gentle 24-hour pre-fermentation. The beans, then stripped of their outer skins, were transferred to sealed bags, where anaerobic fermentation took place directly within their pulp for 36 hours. The coffee was then slowly dried for 15 days on raised beds. This precise semi-washed process imparted a full body, concentrated fruity sweetness, and a perfectly clean structure to the beans.
