The coffee in this package comes from one of Ethiopia's most renowned coffee regions, Gedeb. This region is known for its rich coffee tradition, which is reflected in the excellent quality of the coffee beans grown in ideal conditions at high altitudes. Coffee from this region is prized for its purity of flavor and complexity, which comes from natural cultivation and the region's natural biodiversity. The Gotiti washing station is located in an area that is home to heirloom coffee trees, which means that the trees are native, unhybridized, and carry the characteristic traits of Ethiopian coffee.

Thenatural method is often used in areas with water shortages, especially in Africa and dry areas of Latin America, such as Brazil. In dry processing, the cherries are spread out on concrete slabs or beds and dried in the sun or using dryers. The coffee is turned regularly to prevent mold and unwanted fermentation. Once drying is complete, the husk is mechanically removed in a dry mill. Dry processing adds characteristic flavor elements to the coffee that are independent of variety and terroir. Properly executed drying brings fruity notes and a creamy body to the cup.

This coffee may not suit people who like a strong, distinctive flavor. Since it is relatively fresh after roasting, it is better to let it age for a while. It has a very distinctive sweetness and is suitable for those who prefer a fresh, lighter flavor. It is best to use filtered water, not tap water.
