Uluri Washed Gesha delivers a cup that surprises with its purity and richness. The flavor blends bergamot with its sparkling freshness, a warm touch of cinnamon, and delicate floral notes of jasmine. This harmonious whole is balanced, elegant, and surprisingly light. The acidity is fresh and the sweetness subtle, making this coffee an ideal example of how Gesha can shine when farmers take the utmost care of it.
The Uluri farm is located in Uchumachi, Bolivia, and covers an area of 10 hectares. It is surrounded by virgin forest and was originally completely abandoned. In 2017, Andrés and Francisca took it over, gradually restoring it, planting new varieties, and bringing it back to life. Among them is Gesha, considered one of the most exceptional coffee varieties in the world. The high altitude and careful approach to cultivation result in coffees that embody not only quality but also the imprint of the landscape and personal commitment. Their partnership with The Coffee Collective allows them to share this work with coffee lovers around the world.
The chosen washing method emphasizes the purity and clarity of the flavor profile. After harvesting, the cherries are sorted by hand, hulled, and undergo controlled fermentation before being thoroughly washed and dried. The result is a cup in which even the most delicate aromas are preserved. The Uluri farm is located at an altitude of 1370–1430 m, which provides the ideal combination of climate and soil for the slow ripening of coffee cherries. Thanks to these conditions and careful processing, Uluri Washed Gesha retains a balance, complexity, and elegance that every lover of exceptional coffee will appreciate.
