I definitely didn't detect any intense notes of currant jam or juicy citrus

They nailed the flavors: caramel, dried apples
I don't think the coffee is anything special

Value for money
Mass production of "fines"
Recipe
I won’t be evaluating the flavor profile, but purely the mechanics: I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a coffee that generates such a large amount of fine particles (fines) when ground. It reliably and immediately clogs the Aeropress filter (ground to about 20 clicks on the Comandante); the coffee always looks like muddy water, and I’ve never managed to get it to look even slightly clear. When it settles, you’ll find grounds at the bottom like in a Turkish coffee pot, even though the coffee was filtered through paper.
Fascinating (and so much for the claim that “you can’t tell it’s decaf.” You can tell.)

An ordinary coffee that doesn't excite, but doesn't disappoint either.
