Introducing Super Heroine espresso from Oh My Bean roasters. This coffee was created from the idea of giving space to beans that are backed by women. Three initiatives from three countries have come together to create a sweet and balanced espresso that works great at home or in a café, with or without milk. In your cup, you'll find a harmonious profile that combines notes of chocolate, plum jam, and blackberries. Brazil adds chocolate sweetness and a full body, Peru brings a smooth creaminess with a hint of plum jam, and Rwanda enlivens the composition with juicy energy and blackberry acidity.
Behind the beans from the 24/25 harvest is an association from altitudes of 950 to 2300 meters above sea level. In the Brazilian region of Sul de Minas, coffee is grown by the Cafeina Women Group, an initiative supporting the professional growth of female farmers. In the Peruvian Amazon, coffee trees are tended by members of the Las Flores de Luya Women's Association, which also focuses on sustainable agriculture. The Rwandan part of the Ngoma region is supplied by the Sake Women's Coffee station, where everything is supervised by women under the leadership of Marie Laetitia Kayitesire. The blend consists of Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, Pache, Typica, Mundo Novo, and Yellow Catuaí varieties .
The complex flavor is the result of natural and washed processing. The natural method, in which whole cherries are dried with the beans, gives the coffee a fuller body, greater sweetness, and deeper fruitiness. The washed processing, in which the beans are fermented in water before drying, perfectly balances the whole blend. It brightens the coffee beautifully, emphasizes its clean flavor profile, and gives it a more precise structure and brighter acidity.
