This blend from Oh My Bean is a combination of two selections from Ethiopia and Colombia, created especially for lovers of fruity and juicy filter coffees. The cup combines notes of passion fruit, peach, and tropical fruit, supported by sparkling acidity and balanced sweetness. This blend is designed to offer an energetic and layered experience that will delight both beginners and experienced coffee lovers.

The Ethiopian component comes from the Sidamo region, specifically from farmer Faysel Yonise and the Banko Gotiti station. This area is known for its high altitude and ideal conditions for growing coffee, which is reflected in a complex flavor profile with floral and fruity notes. The Colombian part of the blend comes from the Risaralda region, from the Finca Milan farm run by Julio Quicen. This area is renowned for its rich soil and microclimate, which contribute to the full flavor and sweetness of the coffee.

The processing of the coffees in this blend combines the traditional washed method with modern fermentation techniques. The Ethiopian coffee is processed using the washed method, which emphasizes its purity and clear fruity notes. The Colombian component has undergone co-fermentation, an innovative process in which the coffee is fermented together with other natural ingredients, enhancing its flavor characteristics and complexity. This combination of traditional and modern processing methods gives the Nirvana blend its unique character and depth of flavor.

I’m usually critical of coffee blends—after all, every coffee should earn its place in the sun on its own merits—but Nirvana is a shining exception. It’s a fantastic combination that I won’t forget anytime soon, and I’m already on my third package.
The fruity aroma hits me strongly every time I open the package—so much so that I almost regret having to brew the coffee and pour hot water over it.
But after taking a sip, my regret quickly fades—above all, I taste a rich peach, with notes of roasted tea in the background, as well as the juicy heat of the tropics.
It's also quite remarkable that so far, everyone I've made it for has really liked it—even the so-called "sour coffee haters." It's just the power of fruit. Truly Nirvana.

Does the colombian coferment involve additives like essential oils?
Hello, David. No oils are added there. The Colombian component of this blend has undergone co-fermentation an innovative process in which coffee ferments together with natural ingredients. Have a nice day! :)
