If you are looking for a reliable companion for everyday drinking, Morning Filter from Oh My Bean Roastery is exactly the coffee you will reach for in the morning, at work, and in the afternoon at home. This blend is designed to appeal to both complete novices in the world of specialty coffee and more experienced coffee lovers who will appreciate its balanced profile, rich body, and subtle fruitiness. The cup is dominated by notes of chocolate and caramel, which elegantly combine with subtle citrus acidity to create a sweet, round, and very pleasant impression.

The basis of the current version is Brazilian coffee processed using the dry method by Cristiano Ottoni from the Fazenda Rodomunho farm in the Cerrado region. This blend lends its typical Brazilian chocolate flavor, warm caramel notes, and fullness. Colombian coffee processed using the washed method by Daniela Duque from the La Rochela farm in the Cauca region is then added to the blend, bringing a delicate fruity line with citrus tones and emphasizing the sweetness of the whole cup. The combination of these two components creates a harmonious filter that is versatile and accessible.

Morning Filter is the ideal choice for V60, batch brew, or French press, but it also works great in a moka pot. Thanks to its character, it goes well with milk, but the cup itself is full and satisfying. This is a coffee with an emphasis on classic flavors, without excessive fruitiness or high acidity—simply a blend you can rely on in any situation.

Pretty good for cold brew
Coarse grinding brings out the subtle sweetness inherent in the beans
Absolutely terrible compared to any other "warm" method
A dry and bland taste, whether brewed in a V60, Mugen, or AeroPress. I then did a cupping and found that this is the characteristic flavor of this coffee (batch roasted on April 8, 2026, opened on April 22, 2026).
