Half of this complex flavor explosion comes from a precisely balanced Colombian component. The beans come from the renowned Huila region and are of the exceptional Pink Bourbon variety, prized by specialty coffee lovers for its unique genetic potential and naturally high sweetness. This coffee underwent a demanding and modern process of double anaerobic fermentation, meaning it was processed in a controlled environment without air exposure. This method allows the beans to develop their maximum aromatic potential and gives them that unmistakable “funky” character and explosive notes of tropical fruit, which form the solid backbone of the entire blend.

However, to ensure the result isn’t too wild, it is masterfully balanced by the second part of the blend, which comes from the Sidama-Bensa region of Ethiopia—specifically from the Keramo farm. The beans are grown here at a high altitude of around 2,300 meters above sea level, which, combined with the slower ripening of the cherries, significantly contributes to their high sweetness and complexity in the cup. The variety is a heirloom, meaning a blend of local Ethiopian varieties known for their captivating aroma and fruity character. Processing is done using the dry method at the Keramo washing station, where the coffee cherries are dried whole, with both the skin and pulp intact. Thanks to this, a distinct strawberry sweetness is gradually transferred into the bean, which softens the entire composition and gives it the necessary elegance. The result is a coffee with a lively profile that constantly evolves in the cup, revealing new layers of flavor, giving Juicy Crush its unforgettable juiciness and depth that you’ll look forward to every morning.
