The JUICY&JOY Blend from Paloma Coffee Roastery is a modern coffee characterized by pronounced fruitiness and sweet aromas. From the very first sip , it offers an unconventional combination of notes of bubblegum, lychee, coffee blossom, and elderflower, creating a very juicy and lively flavor profile. The coffee feels light, fresh, and aromatic, yet retains plenty of sweetness and clarity. In the cup, exotic fruit alternates with delicate floral notes and a sweet finish reminiscent of fruit candies or lemonade. The blend is primarily intended for drip brewing and shines best when prepared in a way that allows its aromatic character to unfold.

The blend is based on coffees from Colombia. Huila is one of Colombia’s well-known regions for specialty coffee and is prized mainly for its sweetness, fruitiness, and higher acidity. The combination of two distinct lots creates a more complex profile that blends clarity and juiciness with more intense aromatics. For this blend, Paloma Coffee Roastery uses a modern roasting style that allows the character of each coffee to shine through. The resulting profile is open, fruity, aromatic, and consistently well-balanced.

The processing combines 80% washed and 20% honey anaerobic lots with lychee fermentation. The washed portion gives the coffee clarity, a brighter structure, and fresh acidity, while the honey anaerobic processing brings greater sweetness, more pronounced aromatics, and exotic fruity notes. During anaerobic fermentation, controlled fermentation takes place without oxygen, which helps highlight the complexity of flavors. Lychee fermentation enhances the tropical and floral character of the blend without making the coffee seem overly fermented.
