Raspberry cake, ripe stone fruit, and a hint of spicy arabesques— this coffee from Colombia by Fiftybeans is perfect for lovers of sweet and fruity profiles. It comes from the Quebraditas farm, located at an altitude of 1,700 meters above sea level, and is harvested exclusively for filter coffee. In the cup, you can expect a distinctive, juicy, and playful flavor that you won't forget. What's more, this is a limited edition that shows just how much fun a selection from Colombia can be.
Farmer Edinson Argote is one of the progressive producers that the Fiftybeans team met during their trip to Colombia in 2023. On his farm, he has long focused on experimental fermentation, including fermentation with enzymes and temperature shocks. This natural coffee fermented for four days in special containers and was cooled several times during the process using thermal shock. This allows for careful control of the fermentation process and results in a beautifully clean, sweet, and fruity flavor. After fermentation, the coffee cherries are dried and then hulled.
The Caturra Chiroso variety has Ethiopian genetic origins and brings elegance and complexity to the cup. It is thanks to these genetic roots that the resulting profile features unusual and surprising tones that will appeal even to experienced coffee enthusiasts. The natural processing also emphasizes the sweetness and fullness of the body. Whether you go for a V60, Clever Dripper, Aeropress, Pulsar, or even a Hoop, each method brings out a different layer of flavor in this coffee. It's a coffee that you'll enjoy exploring again and again—and each time it will surprise you with a different accent. A limited edition that won't stay on your grinder for long.
