Colombia Argenys Rojas from Oh My Bean is a delicate and elegant filter coffee that will appeal to lovers of clean, multi-layered cups. Its flavor profile blends notes of orange, light caramel, a tea-like base, and subtle floral undertones. The result is a harmonious and fresh profile with pleasant citrus acidity, a lighter body, and a very clean finish. The coffee feels light and sophisticated and truly shines when brewed slowly in a V60, Chemex, or as a refreshing cold brew.

The coffee comes from the Los Andes farm in the Timaná area of the Huila region—one of Colombia’s most significant regions for growing specialty coffee. Production is overseen by Argenys Rojas Hoyos, a farmer with an extraordinary life story. In addition to managing the farm, she has also worked in public administration and brings a systematic and long-term approach to the farm’s development. From its humble beginnings, the family farm has grown to 18 hectares and today is home to approximately 17,000 coffee trees. The emphasis on quality was further confirmed by a victory in the 2020 Yara Champions Cup. The Colombia variety is grown here at an altitude of around 1,450 meters above sea level, where the stable climate and fertile soil create ideal conditions for the slow ripening of the cherries and a balanced flavor profile. The Huila region is known for coffees with pronounced sweetness, bright acidity, and elegant aromatics, which are beautifully reflected in this lot.

Processing is done using the washed method, which enhances the clarity of flavors and the precise expression of individual notes. After being hand-picked, the cherries are pulped, fermented, washed, and then gently dried. This brings out a lightness, a tea-like character, and a delicate floral note, complemented by orange freshness and caramel sweetness.
