I tried the V60 and the Next Level Pulsar with various brewing times and coffee-to-water ratios, but I didn't get the flavor profile described…

Beautiful packaging
Fast Delivery
So far, this is the worst limited-edition coffee from DAK that I’ve tasted. The package also contains a significant number of defective beans. Even after trying several brewing methods, the coffee tastes flat and watery, and I can’t detect anything in it besides bitterness. A major summer disappointment. Perhaps it’s a bad batch; the roast date was July 3, 2026.

Perfect for those who love sweet coffee
Sooo aromatic... A bit too much for me

It looked interesting on the outside
Personally, I didn't like the limited edition as an espresso, but it was drinkable with plenty of milk

light, tea-like coffee
boring, too expensive for this average taste

Nice fruity acidity
It smells really bad, and for a long time
There's a pretty narrow range where it tastes good

Less pronounced
A tougher brew—I couldn't get a good flavor out of it. The coffee was well-rested, 30 days or more. I tried different temperatures and grind sizes, the ones that usually work :(

I think I've reached my limit here. As a coffee lover who absolutely refuses to become a "coffee snob"—because I'll never go so far as to measure the water temperature, for example—I probably couldn't get the best out of these beans. So, for me, it's just average.

I prepared the coffee using a V60, but the extraction was very slow and the filter easily became clogged with fine particles. The resulting cup was rather flat and lacked the distinctive fruity flavor I would expect from Yirgacheffe. I haven't managed to find a good recipe yet :(
Recipe
Preparation method: V60 Coffee (g): 20g Water (g): 320
Water temperature: 94 Grinder (setting): 26 clicks on Commandante Process: Bloom 60 g (40 s), then pour to 180 g and 320 g, gentle swirl. Total extraction time ~3:50, very slow drain, filter clogged with fines.

It tastes really good, like chocolate-covered raisins.
I don't like cherries in chocolate.
