This Panama is an absolute gem among specialty filter coffees and offers a competition-caliber experience. From the very first whiff and sip, it will enchant you with its incredible elegance, sparkling clarity, and fascinating complexity. The intoxicating floral aroma of sweet jasmine takes center stage, harmoniously complemented by juicy notes of white peach, crisp green apple, fresh lemongrass, and exotic mangosteen. The result is a light, tea-like, and layered profile with a delicate fruity acidity and an endlessly long honey aftertaste that will delight every lover of the world’s most exceptional coffees.

This coffee originates from one of the most renowned coffee-growing regions on the planet: the Boquete region of Panama. The beans were grown on the legendary Lamastus family estates, specifically at the renowned Elida Estate. The family’s tradition here dates back to 1918, and today it represents the absolute world leader in the cultivation of specialty coffee. The coffee trees grow on volcanic soil at extreme altitudes ranging from 1, 670 to 2,100 meters above sea level. Low mountain temperatures, a unique microclimate, and strict ecological care ensure the slow ripening of the cherries, resulting in beans with exceptional density and depth of flavor.

In terms of botanical origin, this is the iconic and highly prized Geisha variety, which has found its ideal environment in Panama. The coffee was processed using the classic natural method. Carefully selected, fully ripe dark red cherries were left to rest overnight and then slowly dried for approximately 30 days on elevated African drying beds, with constant and precise turning. This gentle drying process allowed the beans to absorb all the natural sugars from the pulp, giving the coffee intense sweetness, a full body, and a perfectly distinct, refined character—perfect for a top-quality pour-over.
