The Naughty Dog presents an exclusive microlot from Kenya, KARIMIKUI. This sweet and highly acidic coffee will delight your taste buds with unusual notes of Coca-Cola, nectarines, and sweet lemon. The unique combination of sweetness and freshness makes it an ideal choice for filter coffee lovers. The fresh harvest from January 2024 offers top-quality beans, perfect for both your morning cup and an afternoon break.

This exceptional coffee comes from the Karimikui farm in the Gichugu area, located in Kirinyaga, a region known for growing high-quality Kenyan coffee. The farm is situated at an altitude between 1600 and 1900 meters, providing ideal conditions for cultivating varieties such as Batian, SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11. Harvesting is done by hand, and every step is carried out with the utmost care, ensuring not only the quality of the beans but also the protection of the environment and support for the local community.

The coffee is processed using the washed method, which is preferred here, resulting in a clean and distinctive flavor profile. After harvesting, the coffee cherries are thoroughly washed and fermented to remove the pulp and highlight the delicate flavor nuances. The cherries are then dried on raised beds for 10 to 15 days, with careful monitoring of every detail during this process. The result is a refined coffee with higher acidity and fruity notes, reflecting the unique conditions of the Kirinyaga region.
