Cascara means husk, in this case the husks of coffee cherries. These husks are a by-product of coffee processing. After the coffee beans are shelled, which are then further processed on the farm, the husks remain, which are sweet, juicy, and full of fruity flavors. Farmers dry these husks and then sell them as Cascara. So it's not coffee.

Cascara is made from coffee husks (97%) sourced from traditional, sustainably managed farms. Thanks to the careful selection of ingredients and the right balance of spices, the drink is full of sweet and warming tones that warm you up like hot tea in winter and can easily be prepared as a refreshing iced version in summer. To prepare, we recommend pouring 200 g of water at a temperature of 98°C over 15 g of the mixture and steeping for 10 minutes – this will create a richly aromatic yet delicate drink.
The composition of this special Christmas blend is carefully balanced: coffee husks form the base (97%), to which Ceylon cinnamon (1.1%), dried orange peel (1.1%), dried cornflower blossoms ( 0.5%), and jasmine ( 0.3%).
