The coffee comes from the renowned Suke Quto farm, located in the Sidamo region of Ethiopia's Guji region. The farm was founded by Tesfaye Bekele and is now one of the pioneers of sustainable farming in Ethiopia. It is located at an altitude of 1,800-2,200 meters above sea level, where, thanks to the high altitude and rich volcanic soil, the coffee cherries ripen slowly and develop an intense aroma. Suke Quto is known not only for its quality, but also for its emphasis on ecology and soil restoration—Tesfaye's goal is to maintain a healthy ecosystem that benefits both the farm and the community.

This coffee is processed using the honey method, in which part of the sweet pulp of the cherries is left on the beans during drying. This method gives the coffee a syrupy sweetness, a fuller body, and a beautiful complexity that stands out in combination with heirloom varieties. The honey process emphasizes fruitiness, a delicate honey note, and roundness, while the Guji terroir is reflected in elegance and purity.
