Just the essentials in your backpack, a camera around your neck, Gwilly the dog on a leash, and the open world ahead of you. This isn't just a cup of coffee—it's a travel companion, a map of flavors that will take you across continents without ever leaving your porch. The sun beats down on the train windows, the sea breeze ruffles your hair, while you carry a sweet sip of summer in a cup. Around the World with Gwilly Dog will guide you through flavors like those of an experienced traveler. It starts with notes of Mon Chéri pralines – dark chocolate, cherry liqueur, maybe even a hint of rum. Then lemon candies appear , refreshing and playful like a picnic by the lighthouse. The finish belongs to the calm depth of black tea, which rounds everything off and grounds it. The sweetness is pronounced, the acidity medium, the body delicately full yet juicy.

The blend is built on the contrast of two exceptional origins – Colombia and Ethiopia. From Colombia comes Geisha from Diego Horta, which adds a seductive sweetness and elegant aroma to the blend. From Ethiopia comes a washed coffee from Tesfaye Bekele's Suke Quto farm, renowned for its purity, floral delicacy, and tea-like character. Together, they create a combination that tastes like summer on the road: somewhere between the jungle, a citrus orchard, and a café with a view of the mountains. This omni coffee can handle both espresso and filter, and it is its versatility that makes it the ideal companion – for your daily ritual or morning mocha pot at the campsite.

Each coffee has been processed differently, which gives the blend its depth. The Colombian part underwent anaerobic fermentation without access to air, giving it an intense sweetness, fruity expression, and smoothness. The Ethiopian part was classically washed and sun-dried to preserve its clarity, floral notes, and pleasantly dry character. Together, they form a blend that is imaginative but not overly experimental – fun but accessible. Just like Gwilly the dog: a little mischievous, a little of a guide. And above all – always ready for the next adventure.

Decent coffee
The first beans from this roaster, which I rate highly!
The coffee is nice, it tastes great.
It's worth buying. I wasn't expecting anything, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I have never seen grains this large before. I had to focus my eyes more intently on the lens.
Minimal flavor profile. Lemon candy, no Mon Cheri. I tried a different grind setting (1 + 1 degrees) and a different brewing temperature (2 + 2 degrees). The coffee isn't bad, it's actually quite good, but the declared flavor profile isn't even close.
