Once again, I’ve found that Mazelab is a bit of a hit-or-miss for me. They can make coffee that has me thinking about placing another order before I’ve even finished my first cup. But they can also make coffee that I really, really don’t enjoy drinking… Unfortunately, this time it was more of a miss.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but this coffee tastes like overroasted commodity coffee

There's nothing particularly wrong with it
It didn't interest me at all
In my opinion, this coffee is overroasted

really good
the flavor notes are more or less present
very "tea-like"
For most people, it’s probably too mild, and other brewing methods that focus on intensity don’t really work for me—maybe it’s just me
It's really expensive; I used to buy it much cheaper, for about 2 CZK/g, which is fine, but anything more expensive than that is just too much; the value for money at full price is so-so
Recipe
Kalita, Solo Dripper, or Orea. It’s more about less extraction than more; they probably roast most of their beans “Gesha-style,” which is why it works so well.

The flavor matches the description: very pronounced notes of peach and orange blossom
subtle, tasteful packaging
The price, but it's worth it for the quality
