Mazelabovská El Socorro will captivate you from the very first sip. This Gesha from Guatemala was roasted with the aim of showcasing its delicate elegance and aromatic complexity in both filter coffee and lighter espressos. Floral and fruity layers unfold in the cup – white flower and citrus notes transition into juicy nectarine, while the finish is reminiscent of panela (traditional cane sugar), which gives the drink a pleasant sweetness and smoothness. The resulting profile is clean, fresh, and yet full of nuance—exactly what you would expect from a top-quality Gesha, which can be both elegant and dynamic at the same time.

This exceptional coffee comes from the El Socorro farm in the Palencia region of Guatemala, where it is carefully cultivated by Diego de la Cerda, a representative of the family that still farms this land with a focus on quality and tradition. The farm is located at a high altitude, which gives the coffee trees space to grow slowly, promoting a more intense aromatic connection in the beans. El Socorro is one of Guatemala's most respected producers, and its Gesha lots regularly win awards and top ratings in prestigious competitions, confirming the consistently high quality of their coffee.

The beans were processed using the classic washed method, in which fully ripe cherries are hand-picked, then pulped, fermented, and washed. They are then carefully dried in the sun to preserve the purity and distinctive aromatic nuances that Gesha offers. Thanks to this process, the cup reveals the natural sweetness of fruity tones and a fresh, bright acidity without unwanted fermentation tones. The resulting flavor is clean, floral, and layered—the best Guatemala has to offer in the form of washed Gesha.
