Colorful, sweet, and playful! Square Mile's Sweetshop blend is an espresso blend with a tradition spanning several years that breaks all the rules. This blend boldly combines two Ethiopian coffees from the Guji region to create a blend that definitely doesn't play it safe, but instead goes all in on an intense fruity profile! When drinking this cup, you will feel like you are enjoying the intense chocolate body of a classic espresso, broken up by the sweet taste of blueberries and strawberries and a pleasant floral aroma. The secret is that Square Mile also makes a great cold brew from this blend, but don't tell anyone!
50% Ethiopia Shoondisha Natural
These beans come from the Dambi Udo Drying Station, which brings together harvests from small farmers in the surrounding area. The Gibirinna 74110 and Serto 74112 varieties ripen at high altitudes, where their complex flavor profiles develop. This coffee brings a playful tropical fruit flavor, subtle acidity, and a hint of bergamot to the blend .
50% Ethiopia Bookkisa Natural
The coffee comes from the famous coffee village of Bookkisa, located at an altitude of around 2,000 meters above sea level. Ture Waji, a renowned producer, is the driving force behind this coffee. He works with 33 small farmers who cultivate only a few hectares of land. This coffee enriches the final blend with sweet strawberry notes and a delicate texture.
Both coffees have undergone dry (natural) processing. After being picked by hand, the ripe coffee cherries are spread out on African beds, where they are dried in the sun for several weeks. During drying , they are turned regularly to ensure even drying. This process allows the sweetness and fruity notes from the cherry pulp to be absorbed into the bean. The result is a rich, complex cup full of sweet fruit character.
