KROK Roastery is a place where a love of coffee has become a daily craft. Located at Čelakovského 85 in Jičín, KROK operates as a roastery and espresso bar that invites you to stop by, taste, and share. It’s not just about the coffee itself, but about the entire process —from the initial idea to the cup sitting in front of you. KROK is about moving forward, taking gradual steps, and the joy of a job well done.

KROK’s story began quietly—with a love for coffee and the opening of our own café. Over time, we gained experience, knowledge, and the desire to move forward. The pivotal milestone came in 2024, when the team decided to take another big step and open our own roastery, symbolically right across from the Všehochuť café. Behind the brand are people who live and breathe coffee every day—from working with guests to fine-tuning roasting profiles. KROK is the result of natural evolution, not a shortcut.

KROK Roastery’s mission is simple yet sincere: to offer high-quality specialty coffee that both the roaster and the customer understand. Roasting is done with an emphasis on the character of the bean, the origin, and the flavor potential of each coffee. It’s not about extremes, but about balance and clarity—whether you enjoy your coffee as an espresso in a café or at home with a filter. KROK believes that good coffee should be accessible, understandable, and above all, joyful.

Although the KROK roastery is still young, the very step toward roasting its own coffee is a great honor and a commitment to the future. Every new lot, every recipe tweak, and every satisfied customer confirms that this path makes sense. KROK doesn’t try to leap forward —instead, it moves step by step, with respect for the coffee, the people, and the place where it’s made.
