La Salsa Geisha from Nordbeans is like a fresh summer breeze – it gently refreshes you, awakens your senses and brings you a feeling of lightness that you simply cannot miss. From the very first sip, you'll be captivated by its intense flavor profile, which brings notes of sweet yellow melon, the freshness of lemongrass, and the fruity juiciness of raspberries. Each cup is a refreshing experience that combines the purity and elegance of washed processing with the complex sweetness typical of the rare Geisha variety.

La Salsa Farm is located in the El Cedral region of Honduras, known for its rich biodiversity and unique microclimate. Benjamin Paz, the farm's owner and a key figure in the world of Honduran specialty coffee, grows the Geisha variety, whose seeds come directly from the legendary Panamanian farms. Thanks to the high altitude and specific conditions—low temperatures, fog, and proximity to Lake Yojoa—the coffee cherries ripen more slowly here, giving them a distinctive sweetness and complex flavor. Benjamin, who grew up in the family business Beneficio San Vicente, has become an ambassador of quality and an innovator. Thanks to his deep respect for local farmers, knowledge of regional conditions, and active collaboration with roasters around the world, he has significantly increased the prestige of Honduran specialty coffee. His approach, based on fair relationships and a constant search for new methods, is moving the entire region toward sustainability and excellence. Benjamin's victory in the Cup of Excellence competition is clear proof of this care.

Coffee cherries are harvested exclusively by hand at La Salsa, which allows for careful selection of only the ripest fruits. After harvesting, the cherries are hulled and fermented in water tanks, where the pulp is removed to preserve maximum flavor purity. This is followed by several washings with fresh mountain water to ensure that all impurities are removed. The result is an incredibly clean profile with a rich body and pleasant, medium acidity that perfectly supports the fruity notes of this unique coffee.

  • Altitude: 1,650 meters above sea level.
