If you are looking for an espresso that will delight you with its balance and purity, this new product from the Brunca region is a bull's eye. In your cup, you will find a harmonious combination of sweet ripe cherries and creamy white chocolate, which gives the coffee a very pleasant texture. It is the ideal choice for anyone who appreciates high sweetness and clearly discernible flavor notes in their morning cup. Thanks to its character, it stands out as a pure espresso, but it also holds its own when combined with milk, where it emphasizes its chocolate notes.
The story of this coffee began in 2014, when the Campos family decided to take fate into their own hands. Instead of selling cherries at low purchase prices, they set up their own small mill and began experimenting with specialty coffee. Their determination and emphasis on quality paid off, as their very first lots achieved top ratings. The coffee grows at an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level, which, combined with the careful hand-picking of the Catuai variety, creates a raw material that earned an excellent 87 points from Q Grader.
Its exceptional sweetness is due to the honey processing method, in which the beans are dried with the pulp residue without the use of additional water. The entire drying process takes place very slowly on raised African beds for 12 to 15 days. The Campos family begins drying in very thin layers to limit unwanted fermentation and ensure the purest possible flavor profile. The result is a precisely processed espresso with a clear origin, reflecting the honest work and sustainable approach of one Costa Rican family.
