Concept Coffee Roasters brings you a limited edition autumn blend from Colombia – Santa Barbara, a coffee that smells like an evening under a blanket with a cup of hot tea, only in a much more enjoyable form. The flavor combines the juiciness of fruit wine, the richness of plum compote, the freshness of forest fruits, and the smoothness of chocolate. This combination will immediately put you in an autumnal mood, whether you prepare it as an espresso with an intense body or as a filter coffee, where its juiciness and layered fruitiness really come into their own. A limited edition created to brighten up those dreary days.

Behind the coffee is Jhon Samboni, a third-generation farmer who, together with his wife and daughters, has been building the Santa Barbara farm in the Huila region since 2018. The farm is located at an altitude of around 2,050 meters in the picturesque town of Algeciras and is home to several varieties, including Geisha and Bourbon. Jhon has a clear vision: to invest in infrastructure and food on the farm so that he can constantly improve his processes and thus ensure better living conditions for his family and employees. The result is not only beautiful coffee, but also a story of determination and belief that hard work pays off – in this case, literally.

Santa Barbara boasts experimental processing that gives the resulting flavor unexpected depth. This Castillo lot underwent 48-60 hours of anaerobic fermentation, which gives it intensity, and was then dried on raised beds in the sun until it reached the right moisture content. This was followed by several weeks of stabilization in GrainPro bags, which ensure balance and consistency of flavor. The result? A coffee that offers unique complexity and layering – ideal for those who like their cup to surprise them with every sip.

The flavor profile matches the description.
Truly intense.
With truly complex coffee, the taste changes over time—new layers and nuances emerge as the coffee cools or as you gradually perceive it. But that's not the case with this coffee. Its distinctive taste remains the same, unchanged by temperature or time, which strikes me as a little artificial.
It's not that you take a sip and say, "Yuck, it's sour." But after drinking about 200 ml, I was left with a long-lasting tingling sensation in my mouth and on my lips.
