Hungarian roaster Casino Mocca presents another exceptional coffee from Colombia that will delight all lovers of sweet and harmonious espresso. The cup perfectly blends juicy notes of orange and delicate cashews, complemented by deliciously sweet caramel. The result is a perfectly balanced cup with pleasant acidity and a long, sweet aftertaste.

The renowned Colombian region of Huila grows coffee of exceptional quality, often on small family farms with a long tradition. This region is famous for its ideal climatic conditions, which ensure that the coffee cherries ripen slowly, allowing their complex flavor and character to fully develop. However, the harvests of small farmers are often too small for independent export – yet their crops are of the same or even higher quality than coffee from large lots. Casino Mocca's partner in Colombia has therefore decided to combine select coffees from these producers around the town of Pitalito into a unique blend that brings together the best of their harvests.

The coffee was processed using the traditional washed method, which guarantees a balanced profile with distinctive fruity notes and pleasant acidity. After careful hand picking and sorting, the beans are mechanically stripped of their husks and pulp in hulling mills. This is followed by fermentation under strictly controlled conditions and washing with clean water to remove excess sugars. The final step is slow drying on raised African beds or concrete slabs for 12 to 20 days, depending on the weather.
