Industra Coffee from Brno presents another gem from its collection of select coffees – Bolivia Kusillo. This coffee is a real treat for lovers of sweet and delicate flavors. In your cup, you will be greeted by a silky combination of caramel, juicy cranberries, and velvety eggnog. Whether you prepare it in the morning as a gentle caress or in the afternoon as a sweet break, this coffee is guaranteed to transport you to a completely different world. Java is not just a variety – it is an experience that leaves a long and pleasant impression. And we dare say that you will enjoy this lot not only for its taste, but also for the story behind it.
The Kusillo farm, named after an Aymara character who spreads joy, is located in Caranavi, Bolivia, an area known for its rich biodiversity. Here, coffee trees grow in the shade of banana trees and ripen slowly. The farm is run by the Rodriguez family, who are behind the return of specialty coffee to Bolivia. Through the Sol De La Mañana program, they support dozens of farmers and show that coffee cultivation can be sustainable, high-quality, and profitable.
The "coco natural" processing gives the coffee its typical fruity-sweet complexity. The cherries are first dried for 5 days in direct sunlight on African beds and then continue for another 20 days in unique drying containers with a controlled temperature of up to 40 °C. These containers, developed directly by the Rodriguez family, are unique in the world. Heat is provided by gas burners and the coffee is regularly stirred by hand to ensure even drying and maximize flavor potential. Thanks to this care, the cup combines the sweetness of caramel with the delicate acidity of cranberries and the dessert elegance of egg liqueur. The result? Coffee that is as honest as the story of the people who created it.
