When People Possession roastery launched its gem from the Peruvian mountains, it was clear that this would be no ordinary coffee. This exceptional Geisha from the Cusco region is literally liquid poetry. Juicy notes of clementine unfold in the cup, intertwining with the citrus freshness of verbena, while delicate white cherry adds a silky sweetness to the whole, crowned by an elegant Earl Grey finish. Each sip is like a walk through a blossoming Andean plain, where fruity freshness blends with floral delicacy and sophisticated tea elegance.

The Peruvian region of Cusco, where this coffee comes from, is one of the most important historical and agricultural centers in South America. It lies in the heart of the Andes, where high altitudes, constant temperature differences, and fertile soil rich in volcanic minerals create ideal conditions for growing coffee trees with an exceptionally complex flavor profile. Local farmers often farm small plots of land that have been part of their family heritage for generations and devote themselves to growing coffee with incredible care and precision. The result is the production of select beans with a unique personality and expression of terroir, from fresh citrus tones to subtle floral nuances that are typical of this region.

This coffee is processed using a washed method combined with anaerobic fermentation, which takes its aromatic profile to the next level. After harvesting, the ripe cherries are first carefully washed to remove unwanted impurities and ensure the purity of the final beverage. This is followed by fermentation in a closed environment without oxygen access, which promotes the development of complex flavor compounds and gives the coffee exceptional depth and clarity. The combination of the classic washed method with controlled anaerobic fermentation further enhances the delicacy and elegance of the Geisha variety, which is rightly considered one of the highest quality in the world.
