Peru Hugo SL9 Washed WX from Coffea Circulor is a filter coffee that captivates with its elegance, clarity, and distinct fruitiness. The cup reveals notes of apple, mandarin, and yellow plum, complemented by a delicate sweetness reminiscent of chamomile and honey. The profile is fresh and very well-balanced. The acidity is moderately pronounced, adding liveliness to the coffee without overpowering the other flavors. The lighter, juicy body allows the individual layers of flavor to gradually come to the fore, creating a harmonious whole. Thanks to its purity and complexity, this coffee is best suited for filter brewing, where it fully reveals its fruity structure and delicate floral nuances. This lot comes from Peru, specifically from the Incahuasi area in the province of La Convención in the Cusco region. The producer is Hugo Pareja from the Bella Vista farm, located at an elevation of 2,205 meters above sea level. It is precisely this high elevation that creates the ideal conditions for the coffee cherries to ripen more slowly, allowing the beans to develop greater flavor complexity and a more pronounced sweetness. The coffee is made up of the SL9 variety, which is prized for its high flavor potential and ability to deliver a clean and precise profile in the cup. The resulting score of 90 points confirms the exceptional quality of this coffee and ranks it among very interesting specialty lots.

The coffee was processed using the washed method. With washed coffees, the pulp is removed after harvest, and the beans then undergo fermentation and careful washing, which helps highlight the character of both the variety itself and the terroir.
