This espresso has the energy of a fruit punch—just without the straw and ice cubes. Colombia Fruit Punch from Jedno Kafe is juicy, sweet, and truly bold. Watermelon takes center stage, accompanied by peach, apricot, and tropical fruits. The fruity burst is balanced by a sweetness reminiscent of honey and caramel, so the resulting profile isn’t just about acidity—it also has a pleasantly sweet and long finish. Its distinctive aroma and lively acidity make this an espresso that certainly doesn’t play it safe.
Fruit Punch is created by blending two coffees from a single Colombian farm, Rio Negro. Both are of the Pink Bourbon variety, known primarily for its distinctive aromatic potential and fruity character. This time, Jedno Kafe isn’t relying on a single lot but is combining two differently processed coffees from the same location. Each thus brings a slightly different layer to the final espresso, but together they aim for a single goal: to create an intensely fruity, sweet, and slightly wild cup.
It is precisely this experimental processing that is one of the main cornerstones of Fruit Punch. Each of the two components undergoes its own process before Jedno Kafe combines them into the final blend. The result is a profile where pronounced fruitiness meets higher sweetness and juicy acidity. Instead of a classic chocolatey-nutty espresso, you’ll get a more playful and aromatic cup, in which Pink Bourbon can showcase its more distinctive side.
