Belgian roaster Boo! presents a limited edition CHERRY FIZZ coffee that will remind you of spring, for which it was created, from the very first sip. It is fresh and full of life, like sparkling cherry lemonade, transporting us to sunny and warm days, which will only increase as the year progresses. In addition to cherry cola, you will also taste melon and raspberries in your cup, followed by a sweetcocoa aftertaste. It has a playful and distinctive profile that you will not easily forget.
The coffee comes from CATA Export, a Colombian exporter with whom the Boo! roastery has been working since the very beginning. CATA Export is based in Pitalito in the Huila region, where it has built truly exceptional facilities – a dry mill and a sensory laboratory that work closely together. Coffee processing and flavor work are therefore not viewed separately here, but as a single interconnected process.
Spring CHERRY FIZZ is part of the Kaleidoscope series, a project in which carefully selected micro-lots from local smallholders are individually evaluated and then blended into a larger mixture. This edition of coffee specifically includes the Castillo, Colombia, Caturra, Bourbon Aji, and Sidra varieties, which underwent thermal shock and advanced fermentation during processing. All this with a single goal: to achieve exceptional intensity, sweetness, and depth.
