Sweet Colombia from the Hungarian roaster Casino Mocca. Coffee from the Buena Vista farm is an example of honest espresso with a delicate, harmonious taste. In the cup, you will find notes of cherry pralines, nougat, and dark chocolate, which create a perfectly balanced, velvety profile with low acidity. The sweetness of cherry pralines brings a light fruity accent to the taste, which beautifully enlivens the rich chocolate body of the coffee. Nougat adds softness and creaminess, while notes of dark chocolate underscore the elegant bitterness. This Colombian coffee will delight all lovers of chocolate-nut espressos who are looking for a combination of depth, softness, and sweet harmony in every sip.

Guillermo Jaramillo is a third-generation coffee farmer in Ciudad Bolívar, Antioquia. Together with his wife Luz Marina Moncada and their family, they run the 21-hectare Finca Buena Vista farm, where they grow coffee on 17.4 hectares – approximately 94,000 trees of the Caturra and Colombia varieties. Although the Jaramillo family comes from a traditional coffee-growing background, today they place great emphasis on the quality of specialty coffee. Guillermo's son Juan is considered a pioneer in the region , focused on quality and experimentation. The main harvest of this lot takes place from October to December, with a smaller secondary harvest (mitaka) in May. During these periods, ripe coffee cherries are picked by hand. A seasonal team of about 45 pickers works on the harvest, supplemented by 5 permanent workers.

This coffee is processed using the dry (natural) method, where freshly harvested cherries are spread out on African beds and dried whole in the sun. This process can take up to several weeks, during which regular turning of the cherries and careful quality control are essential. The result is a rich and sweet flavor profile with a recognizable fruity touch.
