This coffee from the Jedno Kafe roastery in Liberec will appeal to all lovers of full-bodied, sweet espresso. It comes from the Campos Altos region of Brazil and, thanks to its dry (natural) processing, combines delicious notes of dark chocolate, ripe plums, and delicately sweet almonds. Each cup has a rich body, smooth texture, and low acidity, which highlights its natural sweetness and long, nutty finish. The result is a harmonious and balanced espresso that is enjoyable for everyday drinking—yet will also appeal to more experienced coffee lovers.
Behind the coffee is the Cooperativa Agropecuária de Campos Altos, a cooperative of farmers for whom coffee growing is more than just a craft – it is a tradition rooted in generations. The Cerrado Mineiro region, known for its stable climate, fertile soil, and ideal altitudes, offers excellent conditions for growing coffee trees. Thanks to the use of modern processing technologies and an emphasis on detail and quality, the coffee retains its unique character.
The dry (natural) method perfectly highlights the natural flavor and aroma of each bean. After harvesting, the cherries are carefully sorted to ensure only the highest quality, and then dried whole on raised African beds or concrete surfaces, during which their pulp remains intact. During drying, the cherries gradually lose moisture and the sugars from the pulp are absorbed directly into the beans. This traditional drying method gives the coffee its characteristic sweet and fruity notes. Each bean contains a rich and sophisticated palette of flavors that will ensure you look forward to every espresso you make.
