Stable Temperature and Fast Heating
Inside the coffee maker, the Boosted Boiler™ architecture features three independent heating elements. The water is preheated before entering the boiler; the boiler helps maintain stable conditions during the transition between extraction and steaming; and the heated head promotes more even extraction. The coffee machine is ready to brew in two minutes or less, so you don’t have to wait long for your espresso.
Control Over Both Espresso and Milk
The Series 1 offers precise pressure profiling, guided recipes, and a manual mode. You can follow a preset procedure or customize the brew based on the coffee, grind, and your personal preferences. Milk beverages are handled by a swivel steam wand with temperature sensing. It automatically stops when the set temperature is reached, rinses itself after use, and helps produce a consistent milk texture without overheating.
Smart Controls and Practical Features
The coffee maker works with an app for iOS and Android, where you can create, edit, and share espresso profiles, receive updates, and access new features over time. The removable 2-liter water tank makes it easy to refill and clean; the drip tray features a fill indicator, and the rubberized top surface serves as a cup holder. You can tuck away excess cord in the built-in storage compartment, keeping your workspace looking tidier.
Maintenance and Recommendations
The package includes tools for routine care, such as a backflush disc, water hardness test strip, descaler, and cleaning tablets. This gives you everything you need for maintenance right from the start. A grinder is not included, so you’ll need to purchase a high-quality espresso grinder separately.
