Instructions: Slide the needles out of the protective sleeve. Using a gentle circular motion, comb through the ground coffee in the portafilter from the bottom to the surface. Once all clumps have disappeared and the surface is level, retract the needles and tamp the coffee with a tamper.
Take the utmost care when handling the fine metal needles, and wash the tool exclusively by hand using soapy water and a soft sponge, as it is not dishwasher-safe. For a more thorough cleaning, you can occasionally disassemble the body of this coffee tool, wash it, and let it dry completely before reassembling it.
