Bottomless portafilter for better control over your espresso
The Fellow Espresso 58 mm Bottomless Portafilter is an accessory for anyone who wants more control over their espresso preparation. Thanks to the portafilter’s open bottom, you can better monitor how the coffee flows during extraction and more easily tell if you need to adjust the grind, dose, or tamp. It’s perfect for home baristas who want to fine-tune their espresso while fully enjoying the entire brewing process.
Sturdy Body and Comfortable Handle
The portafilter body is made of stainless steel, making it stable, durable, and comfortable to hold. The ergonomic handle makes daily use more enjoyable and gives the portafilter an elegant look. The standard 58mm size is designed for compatible espresso machines with the same head diameter.
More Brewing Options
The wooden version includes both a pressure basket and a non-pressure basket, so you can choose based on the type of coffee and grinder you use. The non-overpressure basket is suitable for standard espresso preparation with freshly ground coffee, while the overpressure basket comes in handy when your grinder cannot grind finely enough or when you’re using pre-ground coffee. The practical shot splitter allows you to brew espresso into two cups at once.
Maintenance
The portafilters and shot splitter must be removed and washed by hand in warm water with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Simply wipe the portafilter body with a damp cloth. This product is not dishwasher-safe. For the wooden handle, we recommend occasional treatment with mineral oil to prevent the wood from drying out and cracking when exposed to heat or steam.
