Given my recent "successes" in coffee shopping, I wasn't expecting much. The price is good, and there's quite a lot of coffee. I wasn't overly optimistic. The packaging is festive, pretty, not very sturdy, and a bit flimsy. Each coffee has a basic label indicating what it is and for which day. Inside, however, it's just a pile of beans, and you have to sort through them yourself. Which is what I did. With a fairly neutral feeling, I opened coffee no. 3, took a sniff, and the aroma was absolutely incredible. It looks really good. I do everything in a Timemore Crystal Eye (something between Mugen and V60) made of glass. I don't worry about it too much, so 1:15 - 1:16. Pour 3 times, give or take, ideally have it ready in 3 minutes, approx. 94°C water. The coffee not only smelled amazing but also tasted amazing.

This whole calendar is a really great way to end the year. Basically like a Christmas present. I can only recommend it. This is truly world class.
