Say hello to a decaf coffee like no other. We’re talking about Typica from Colombia, crafted by a master of his craft, Oscar Hernández. Thanks to an innovative fermentation method using a mixture of coffee pulp andhusks called mosto, you can taste a delicate flavor from the very first sip, with a hint of milk oolong that gradually unfolds as the coffee cools. First, however, you’ll be delighted by the sweetness of white peach, followed by a finish with notes of milk oolong that lingers pleasantly. It’s fresh, aromatic, and perfectly balanced—exactly the kind of decaf coffee you can brew in the evening and still feel like you’re drinking something rare and special.

Behind this coffee isOscar Hernández—a visionary and leader of the family farm Los Nogales, located in the Bruselas region of Huila. This part of Colombia is considered the heart of specialty coffee production, and it is from here that some of the country’s most distinctive and cleanest profiles originate. Oscar carries on the legacy of his father, Ricaurto, winner of the 2006 Colombian Cup of Excellence, and with every lot, he proves that even decaf coffee can possess depth, character, and top-tier quality.

Caffeine is removed usingthe innovativeDecaf Mosto Process, which mimics the natural fermentation process. The beans are first hand-picked and sorted, then undergo a 24-hour fermentation and thorough washing to maintain purity. This is followed by drying on African beds, a gentle hot bath, and maceration in a natural extract made from coffee cherry pulp, during which the caffeine is gently removed without chemicals. As a result, the flavor remains full-bodied, aromatic, and naturally sweet—a reminder that even decaf can be exceptional.

Awesome—the first good decaf I've had in a long time
My first impression upon opening the package: banana :)
I could taste it even in the first brew, but after drinking it for a while, I have to admit the peach and oolong really come through
You can drink it like tea; it's refreshing and quenches your thirst
Sold out :( Otherwise, I would have bought more
