Get ready for a wild ride – Bubbleberry from Slovak roaster Kaan will transport you to the tropical world of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. This coffee has also undergone a relatively specific processing method called Anaerobic Washed Fruit Enzyme Infused, which brings sweet notes of raspberry jam and cotton candy to the final cup, along with fresh raspberry tones. It is not only the unusual processing that has created a sweet, fragrant and funky experience for anyone looking for something more than just "good coffee." This coffee won't just wake you up – it will entertain you.

Bubbleberry comes from the Simalem farm near the majestic Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in the world. It is an area with rich volcanic soil, high humidity, and stable temperatures, creating ideal conditions for growing specialty coffee with a complex flavor profile. The coffee is grown by Bang Silalahi and his community of farmers. Their goal is not only to produce high-quality beans, but also to build long-term, fair relationships, improve the community's standard of living, and preserve the region's natural wealth. All coffees come from certified organic farms and are grown in accordance with the principles of organic, biodynamic, and agroforestry farming. Growers also actively contribute to the preservation of biodiversity—cocoa trees, macadamia nuts, avocados, banana trees, pepper trees, and pine trees grow among the coffee trees.

This coffee is processed using a modern, innovative process called Anaerobic Washed Fruit Enzyme Infused. This means that after hand-picking only ripe cherries, the coffee undergoes anaerobic fermentation - it is sealed in tanks without access to oxygen, together with natural fruit enzymes that enhance sweetness, fruitiness and floral notes. The coffee is then washed, dried, sorted, and each batch is carefully checked for quality. The entire process is overseen by a team led by a CQI Q-certified sorter and processor, which guarantees the highest quality beans and a unique taste experience. The result of this approach is a coffee that is different—sweet, fragrant, funky, and unmistakable.

A nice introduction to experimental coffees
You can gently taste the marshmallow, but it's really subtle. It can't be compared to the marshmallow coffee from Kmen, where it was really clear from the first sip.
Slight acidity but not unpleasant
For someone who likes experimental roasting and wants to taste it in milk drinks, this is quite bland; perhaps the individual tones are more noticeable with filters.
