About North Star Coffee Roasters

North Star Coffee Roasters was founded in 2013 as Leeds' first coffee roastery which focuses on producing coffee of the highest quality, cooperating closely with speciality coffee producers from all around the world.

"We only buy arabica and we chose our beans based on their flavour profile, purity and consistency. Throughout the entire year, we work in seasonal cycles and buy fresh green beans in small batches, that we then roast in a way that truly embodies the taste and aroma of each bean. The love we have for coffee is founded on the power it has to unite people from all around the world, and our goal is to strengthen this bond by sharing our stories and relationships with the fantastic people that we have met in this line of work. After three years of experience working with green coffee and one of Britains leading ethical importers of speciality coffee, we are proud of upholding our values of only sourcing our coffee in a way that ensures both the land and the people who grow it are treated with the respect they deserve."

"Quality and ethics are at the heart of everything we do. We still cooperate with our original partners as well as new wholesale partners to perpetuate a positive cycle of  reinvestment, innovation and sustainability, to ensure that we can drink and produce delicious coffee for many years to come."

Great coffee color - especially on Chemex
Full taste of wine with light fruity acidity, beautifully round and full. I really enjoyed and looked forward to it.
I can't think of anything, it just seemed like I didn't have quite the consistency with this coffee in each batch. Sometimes she was an absolute bomb and sometimes she was just great. But maybe it's me. :)
Recipe
Done on Chemex and V60. I'd probably choose Chemex for the breasts of a flat Indian warrior.
