Ethiopia Mikiyas Bogale White Honey from Friedhats is a filtered coffee for moments when you want pure elegance in your cup. The flavor combines white peach, a delicate floral note of honeysuckle, and the feeling of warm winter sun on your face —juicy, gentle, yet distinctive at the same time. It is light and airy on the filter, but leaves a long sweet aftertaste, making it easy to include in your favorite morning rituals. It is great for V60, Kalita, batch brew, and even the gentler Aeropress, whenever you feel like a calm, floral-fruity cup.

The beans come from Ethiopia, from the Gedeo Zone, specifically from the Gerse Kebele area at an altitudeof 2,000–2,200 meters above sea level. The producer is farmer Mikiyas Bogale, who grows local heirloom varieties in conditions that combine rich soil, high altitude, and a traditional approach to cultivation. Thanks to the slower ripening of the cherries, the coffee develops a distinctive sweetness, delicate acidity, and typical floral notes that you immediately associate with high-quality Ethiopian coffee. The cup reflects the care taken from farm to export and roasting.

The white honey processing places this lot between washed and natural coffees. The cherries are partially de-pulped, but some of the pulp remains on the bean and dries slowly, so the coffee combines the purity of a washed profile with a fruity, honey sweetness. Slow, controlled drying helps keep the cup crystal clear, with room for subtle notes of white peach and honeysuckle blossoms. The result is a filtered coffee that is both very accessible and complex enough to keep you entertained even when brewed repeatedly.
