The Christmas classic is back! Imagine a coffee that tastes like warmchocolate at first sip, softened by sweetcandied fruit, with a delicate hint of fresh mandarins at the end. Yes, we're talking about coffee roasted at the Nordbeans roastery in Liberec, which is a treat not only for your taste buds but also for your soul. Merry Christmas!
In the heart of the volcanic region of Santa Ana lies the Finca Esquipulas farm, where owner Rodolfo Ruffatti Batlle grows coffee that has become the centerpiece of this roastery's Christmas tradition. Rodolfo and his father harvest this special coffee on the family farm Finca El Salvador. Every year, Nordbeans' Christmas coffee is named after him, bringing distinctive flavors of dark chocolate, candied fruit, and mandarins to your cup. Rodolfo is also the creator of the Coffee School Project, revitalizing abandoned farms and shaping the future generation of coffee growers.
But what gives this coffee its unique character? The key is the processing. The Esquipulas farm mainly grows the Red Bourbon variety. And it is this variety that Rodolfo chose for natural processing at his Buena Vista plant. The natural coffee processing method gives the beans that specific sweetness that you recognize at first sip. It makes the coffee's flavor so complex that you'll find everything from delicious chocolate to fresh cherries in it. It's time to discover this coffee miracle!
