Diamond'sRoastery presentsCosta Rica LA LUISA coffee, whose flavor profile can warm you up as intensely as the sunshine over the volcanic valleys of Sarchí. Its aroma opens with sweet caramel and tropical fruit, complemented by a hint of rum and a subtle cocoa tone, while cinnamon adds a warming spiciness to the cup. This Arabica bean from an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level is rich, layered, and surprisingly delicate—it is a coffee that combines Costa Rican tradition with a modern roasting approach and offers a truly unforgettable sensory experience.

The beans come from the Hacienda La Luisa Norte farm, which is part of the Beneficio La Eva project. This enterprise combines generations of farming tradition with a vision of sustainable and regenerative farming. The farm is located in a landscape where the mountain air mixes with the energy of four mighty volcanoes and where almost half of the territory is protected rainforest. This provides a stable ecosystem, natural shade, and clean water, allowing the Marsellesa coffee trees to ripen slowly and evenly. The result is a coffee with a deep aroma and sweetness that reflects the harmony between humans and wild nature.

This coffee is processed directly at the Beneficio La Eva station, where emphasis is placed on precision and a sensitive approach to each lot. Handpicking ensures that only perfectly ripe cherries enter fermentation. This is followed by a carefully controlled fermentation process that highlights the natural sweetness and complexity of the flavor, and slow drying that allows the mineral and caramel tones of the volcanic soil to develop. The result is a coffee with an elegant body, full of juicy fruitiness, rum depth, and a delicate cocoa finish—a true gem among Costa Rican lots, bringing warmth, energy, and the distinctive character of the Sarchí region to the cup.
