Just take the first sip and you'll understand why it's a favourite with those who like fresh and unique flavours. If you're ready for a proper coffee power-up, Friedhats' SUPERNATURAL is just waiting for you!

Behind this coffee gem are 20 experienced farmers from the Tolima region , who have their farms scattered around the village of Montalvo at an altitude of 1700-2000 metres above sea level. Each of them farms 4-5 hectares, growing varieties such as Castillo, Caturra , Geisha, Pink Bourbon and Colombia - that in itself sounds like a taste fest, don't you think? Their secret? A shared passion for specialty coffee and precision craftsmanship. All the cherries go to the central processing plant of Especiales Tres Esquinas, where the real magic begins.

Now to what makes this coffee truly special - its SUPERNatural processing. 75 hours of fermentation in hermetically sealed tanks gives the coffee an extremely sweet, fruity and full-bodied profile that recalls fermented tropical fruits, creamy yoghurt texture and bittersweet cocoa bean notes. After fermentation, the cherries are dried for 8 days on African beds, 2 days on tarpaulins and another 4 days in a mechanical dryer at 45°C, ensuring a perfect balance between sweetness, acidity and body.

  • Altitude: 1700 - 2000 m above sea level.
