Colombia Quebraditas Peach from the Slovak roastery Kaffa is a coffee that tastes like a summer afternoon captured in a cup. The pronounced sweetness of ripe peaches blends with juicy nectarines and a refreshing note of iced tea, while a delicate yogurt-like creaminess pleasantly softens the entire profile. The result is an aromatic, sweet, and playful coffee with a distinct fruity character that will delight anyone who enjoys unusual and modern filter coffees.

The coffee comes from the Quebraditas farm in the village of Oporapa in Colombia’s Huila region, where it is grown by Edison Argote and Ángela Rojas at an elevation of 1, 650 to 1, 800 meters. On the farm, they combine traditional cultivation with a scientific approach and precisely controlled fermentations, which allow them to develop the distinctive flavor potential of individual varieties. This lot consists of Caturra, and the meticulous work—from selective harvesting to the final drying—gives it purity, elegance, and an intense fruity profile.

The processing combines the Peach Co-Ferment and Thermal Shock methods. Hand-selected ripe cherries first undergo careful sorting and controlled oxidation. After the skin is removed, they ferment together with a peach culture medium and selected microorganisms that promote the development of complex fruity aromas. This is followed by a controlled temperature change, which helps stabilize the compounds formed during fermentation and preserve their intensity and purity. The coffee is then dried under controlled conditions, resulting in a cup that highlights the sweetness of peaches, the juiciness of nectarines, and a delicately creamy aftertaste.
