Thanks to washed processing, this coffee stands out with its clarity, delicate acidity, and long finish that keeps you coming back for more. Whether you brew it as a pour-over or in an AeroPress, it will always impress with its lightness, elegant structure, and intense floral aroma.
This exceptional coffee is brought to you by Jesús Ángel López, who has been tending Finca Llano Redondo for 14 years. As a third-generation farmer, he inherited valuable experience from his father, while also benefiting from the expert support of the InConexus organization, which helps Colombian farmers improve coffee quality and find new markets. Llano Redondo is located in the Nariño region, known for its high-altitude farms, ideal climate, and nutrient-rich volcanic soil. These factors all contribute to a uniquely complex flavor profile, blending bright citrus with delicate sweetness and floral elegance. This Gesha was originally reserved for premium subscribers, but is now available to a wider audience – though only in limited quantities.
The washed processing of this coffee is carefully controlled to achieve a perfectly balanced and clean cup. Hand-picking ensures that only fully ripe cherries are used, which are then sorted by density to remove any defective ones. After depulping, the coffee undergoes a 48-hour fermentation in special tanks, allowing complex fruity and floral notes to develop. The beans are then thoroughly washed and dried for 15 to 20 days in the shade, which contributes to the coffee’s gentle and balanced taste. This precise approach to production ensures that each lot reaches the highest possible quality.
