Sydrip has packed another hit into its drip bags! This time it's a natural Colombian coffee, originally roasted by the Slovak roaster Diamond's Roastery. A cup will transport you to a world of sun-drenched fruit tones. Juicy pineapple and sweet papaya unfold with every sip and are complemented by the nostalgic sweetness of melon candies. The finish belongs to a fresh, elegant touch of grapes. This coffee is like tropical summer in a cup—playful, full of flavor, and unforgettably refreshing.

In the heart of the Huila region, protected by the majestic Nevado del Huila volcano, at an altitude of 1,700 meters above sea level, lies the small El Rincón farm—a place where two mountains converge into a single valley, creating a unique microclimate. This location ensures cool nights and warm days - ideal conditions for the slow ripening of cherries. This results in complex, sweet and distinctive flavors. The volcanic soil, the presence of a forest reserve, and a pure mountain spring combine to create a harmonious environment for growing world-class coffee. Behind the entire project is Diego, a young farmer from the village of Santa María who , after finishing school, decided to do something that was uncertain for many—stay at home and devote his life to coffee. Together with his family, he started growing specialty coffee in 2013 and built his own processing facility. Today, he is not only a producer but also a barista and cupper in his own café. His love for coffee begins on the land and ends in every carefully prepared cup.

Thenatural method is often used in areas with water shortages, especially in Africa and dry regions of Latin America, such as Brazil. In dry processing, the cherries are spread out on concrete surfaces or beds and dried in the sun or using dryers. The coffee is turned regularly to prevent mold and unwanted fermentation. Once drying is complete, the husk is mechanically removed in a dry mill. Dry processing adds characteristic flavor elements to the coffee that are independent of variety and terroir. Properly executed drying brings fruity notes and a creamy body to the cup.

  • Altitude: 1700 m above sea level.

Sydrip Colombia EL RINCON - drip bag 1 pc
Sydrip bags are surprisingly tasty!
Perhaps an unreasonably high price.
It cannot be prepared in a regular cup. A taller cup or container (e.g., French press) is needed—otherwise, the bag will get wet from the already filtered coffee.
