About Girls Who Grind Coffee

Girls Who Grind Coffee is a female-owned roastery run by Fi O'Brien a Casey Lalonde.

Casey comes from New York where she started off her coffee career as a roaster in the Coffee Lab and Roaster in Vermouth. Fi, on the other hand, comes from the land down under, Australia, where she worked as a designer and owner of a cafe in Melbourne. Today, they both live in the United Kingdom on a farm where their shared dream has slowly become reality, and they started their own roastery, Girls Who Grind Coffee.

It's no secret that the coffee industry is dominated by men, so Fi and Casey have decided to empower the fairer sex and get their coffee exclusively from female producers and farmers or producers that support women in farming.

When choosing your coffee, look at its story as well.

Apart from the fruity notes, you can really feel the taste of chewing gum here.

Very tasty filter coffee, but it doesn't offend even like an espresso. For V60, I recommend the Kasuya 4:6 recipe (TDS 100-125), it will create a sweet fruit filter with a strawberry, bubblegum aftertaste.

Very nice coffee, sweet, juicy, like a desert in up. Needs little bit finner grinding for pour-over and after is very good.
